live festival coverage
CTM Festival
Live coverage of CTM Festival encompassing documentary, live multi-camera documentation, highlights of performances shared daily on social media & YouTube and an online partnership with digital commissions.
Highlights article on Fact Magazine.
In 2020, just before the covid-19 pandemic was about to hit us, we provided live coverage for Fact Magazine of the multi-venue and cutting edge CTM festival, a festival we love. We provided our most ambitious festival coverage to date and curated a range of documentaries, live multi-camera documentation of live performances and short form videos that were shared daily.
We ended up spending two weeks in Berlin in order to achieve this and you can see the results below:
Documentary
During CTM, together with writer Scott Wilson, we filmed a documentary on Robert Henke’s audiovisual project on one of the early CBM computers, the CBM 8032. The documentary consists of an interview with the artist, the filming of the show at CTM and archive material used to contextualise the interview and project.
An article on the project and documentary written by Scott Wilson can be read here.
Live Multi-Camera Documentation & Daily Coverage
Throughout the two weeks of the festival, we filmed performances every day and shared them to Fact Magazine’s social media and YouTube channels. Single camera videos were shared the day following each performance and multi-camera videos shared each weekend.
An article including these videos and a write up can be read here.
Online Partnership
In 2021, CTM couldn’t take place in physical form, instead, an online edition took place. A partnership between Fact Magazine and CTM Festival took place, which you can check out below as well as articles accompanying each commission here.
